ABOUT ASH MANNING
Ash Manning writes paranormal romance, fantasy, and more to-do lists than could ever reasonably be completed in one mortal lifetime. Fueled by cookies (any kind, no discrimination) and the lingering synthesizer magic of eighties music, Ash spends most days surrounded by cats, who refuse to respect
personal space, and sloths who don’t actually live with Ash, but who Ash deeply
understands on a SPIRITUAL level.
When not inventing swoon-worthy supernatural heartthrobs or magical realms full of danger and destiny, Ash can be found dancing awkwardly in the kitchen to Culture Club, Joy Division, Human League, Eurythmics, The Cure, Bronski Beat, and even Tears for Fears; all the while pretending that making a list totally counts as getting something done. Despite the chaotic energy of half-finished notebooks and suspicious cookie crumbs in the keyboard, Ash somehow manages to deliver stories packed with steamy romance, saucy humor, and just enough fantasy to make you question whether that weird noise in the attic might actually be a vampire.
Ash's latest books, The Acadia Academy Series, are set in Louisiana and New Orleans and explore voodoo, vampires, werewolves, ghosts and zombies. Under the pen name D.J. McPhee, Ash wrote The Druid Prince Duology, an epic portal fantasy.
Ash lives in a perfectly haunted little nook of the world, where the cats run the show, the cookies vanish mysteriously, and every full moon is a writing deadline. Probably.
